Abuse of Authority by Major Garcia of the Airport District

I want to advise our membership of an incident that occurred at the Airport District involving a police officer. I requested assistance from Major Eric Garcia to resolve the matter; instead, he punished the officer.  PLEA will be publishing the names of any Command Staff members that abuse their authority against police officers. PLEA will expose them and let the Command Staff at the Miami-Dade Police Department know of their abusive behavior. Please read the attached letter that was sent to the Director and the Deputy Director. I will be following up on this and keep you updated.
